Ordered Mr Richard Colegate, Mr Edward Stevenson, Mr
Thomas Hammond and Mr William Talbot the Members re-
turned for Baltimore County be expelled this House and dis-
charged from any further Attendance therein as Members
thereof.
Ordered the Serjeant at Arms attending this House take
into his Custody the Body of James Presbury Sheriff of Balti-
more County and bring him before this House on Monday
next to answr his Contempt of the Laws and the Privileges of
this House in his undue Election of the said four Delegates
of that County
Ordered Mr Speaker issue his Warrant to the Honble Sec-
retary to issue a new Writ for Election of four Members for
Baltimore County in the Room of Mr Colegate, Mr Steven-
son, Mr Hammond and Mr Talbot, who were unduly elected.

The Honble Colo Holland, John Hall, Thomas Addison and
Richard Tilghman Esquires enter the House and deliver Mr
Speaker the following Message.

By the Council in Assembly
November Ist 1712

This Board observing several Temporary Laws of this Prov-
ince will expire at the End of this present Session Viz.
The Act for Encouragement of Tillage and Relief of poor
Debtors
The Act imposing three Pence p Gallon on Rum, Wine
Brandy and Spirits & twenty Shillings p Poll on Negroes and
Irish Servants.

The Act relating to the Height of ffences and restraining
Horse Rangers.
The Act imposing three Pence p Hhd on Tobacco for de-
fraying the Country Charge. And
The Act for regulating Attorneys ffees &ta We cannot
omit the Revival of them to your Consideration.

A Supplementary Act for appointing Constables and as-
certaining what Persons are Taxables Read the first Time
and ordered a second Reading

ments
