The House met again according to Adjournment. Being
called over were all present as Yesterday
Read what was done Yesterday.
The House according to Order proceeds to consider the
Referrence yesterday of that Part of the Report of the Com-
mittee of Elections and Privileges relating to some Sheriffs
not returning their Writs of Election. Debated and Resolved
unless the said Sheriffs return the Writs this Session the Clerk
of this House issue an Order commanding them to attend this
House the next Session and answer their Contempt
Moved that a Message be sent to the Honble Council to
desire their Honours to communicate to this House the
Reasons laid before her Majesty for dissassenting to the Act
for Appeals and Writs of Errors &u and Resolved a Message
be prepared
Read the Petition of Joseph Crismands of Charles County
praying to be naturalized and Leave given to bring in a Bill
for that Purpose.
Mr John Wells from the Committee of Laws enters the
House and delivers Mr Speaker several reviving Bills. Or-
dered they be laid by till to Morrow
Mr Robert Tyler from the Committee of Aggrievances
enters the House and delivers Mr Speaker their Report of
several Aggrievances. Read and laid by for further Consid-
eration when that Committee makes a further Report
Read the Petition of some Inhabitants of Dorchester County
concerning some Abuses in the County Court Offices of that
County debated and by the House rejected
The House adjourned till to Morrow Morning Nine O'Clock
