Resolved in the Affirmative and Ordered the Committee of
Laws prepare and bring in a Bill to remedy the Aggrievance
complained of
Mr Bladen's and Mr Carroll's Remonstrance referred for
Consideration Read and Resolved it be referred to Colo
Hoskins, Mr Hammond, Mr Sprigg and Mr Trippe to view
the Houses and confer with Mr Bladen about the Agreement
pretended to be made and report it with their Opinion to the
House
Moses LeCompte's Petition again read and rejected.
Peter Overy's Petition praying Leave to bring in a Bill for
his Naturalization Read and Leave given to bring in a Bill as
prayed.
Resolved a Bill be brought in for Naturalization of Daniel
Packett.
Mr Thomas Hammond a Member returned for Baltimore
County appeared
Ordered Mr Colegate and Mr Talbot go and present him to
the Honble President & Council and see him sworn.
They return and say they saw him sworn, and Mr Hammond
took his Place in the House
Mr Worthington from the Committee of Laws reports what
Temporary Laws expire this Session Viz.
An Act ascertaining Attorneys Fees and for levying the
same by Way of Execution Resolved the said Act be revived

An Act ascertaining the Height of Fences &ta Resolved the
Act be revived

An Act for the Encouragement of Tillage and Relief of
poor Debtors. Put to the Question whether this Act be
revived or revised? Resolved by Majority of Votes it be
revived
An Act for imposing three Pence p Gallon on Rum, Wine,
Spirits &ta and twenty Shillings p Poll on Irish Servants and
Negroes &ta Resolved it be revived

An Act laying an Imposition of three Pence p Hhd on
Tobacco to defray the Charge of the Province Resolved it be
revived.
An Act relieving the Inhabitants of this Province from some
Aggrievances they lye under. Resolved it be revived.
Resolved upon the Report of the said Committee That a
Bill be brought in to ascertain who are Taxables.
Arthur Miller's Petition Read and Leave given to bring in
a Bill next Session upon making good the Allegations unless
Andrew Skinner the Heir at Law of Andrew Skinner in the
