October the 27th 1711

We send this to put you in mind of the Application made
you last Session for Satisfaction of the remaining part of the
Sallary due to the honble Col Blakiston as Agent for this
Province, and desire that you will now take Care that he be
Satisfied his just Claim to the Time you were pleased to dis-
miss him

October 27th 1711

This House have considered your Honours' Message about
the appointing an Agent & since you have so frankly com-
municated to us your Resolutions not to advise the honble
Presidt to pass any Act of moment until the Arrival of a
Capt General — which in all probability may be suddenly ex-
pected and an Assembly called wherein we expect the many
Aggrievances this Province labours under will be redressed
And we under a necessity of having an Agent in Great Brit-
tain — Have resolved to refer the appointing any until then
and pray your Honours will concur with us herein. And if in
the mean Time your Honours please to recommend two or
three persons for that Purpose we shall consider thereof

Delegates

Capt John Bradford's petitn read and recommended to the
House of Delegates & sent by Col Tilghman
John Brown of Baltimore County appeared & made his
Submission promissing to ask pardon of Capt Anthony Drew
his Commander for refusing to obey his Commands. Was
thereupon dismissed
The Council adjourned until Eight of the Clock on Mon-
day Morning
