Which being read the following answer was sent thereto by
Mr Young & Capt Dorsey Vizt

By the Council in Assembly
October 27th 1711

In Answer to your Message by Mr Campbell & two others
of your House we send you a Copy of one of her Majestys
royal Instructions and it being her express Commands that
Duplicates of the Laws should be sent to her Majesty & the
Lords Commrs of Trade & Plantations under the Seal of this
Province we cannot Concur with your resolve

Copy of the Instruction

You are to transmitt authentick Copys of all Laws Statutes
& Ordinances that are now made & in force which have not
yet been sent or which at any time hereafter shall be made or
Enacted within our said Province Each of them separately
under the publick Seal unto us & our Commrs for Trade &

Plantations within three months or by the first opportunity
after their being Enacted together with Duplicates thereof by
the next Conveyance under pain of our highest Displeasure,
& the forfeiture of that years Sallary, wherein you shall at any
Time or upon any Pretence whatsoever omitt to send over the
sd Laws Statutes and Ordinances as afd within the Time
above limitted as also of such other Penalty as we shall please
to inflict

The Petition of Mr John Hawkins Senr & Henry Wright of
Queen Anns County read & referred to the House of Dele-
gates and sent by Col Coursey
Whereas Capt Charles Kilburn late Capt of the City Com-
pany of Annapolis has sold his Interest there and removed
into the Country
Ordered that a Commission be prepared for Wornel Hunt
Esqr to command that Company
Mr Tyler & Mr Scott from the House saw Wm Bladen Naval
officer of Annapolis sworn to his Accompts
Mr Vanderheyden and Capt Crabb saw Mr Stephen Knight
Naval Officer at the Head of the Bay sworn to his Accompts
It having been moved on the behalf of the honble Col
Nathaniel Blakiston late Agent for this Province that satisfac-
