Advised it be recommended to the House of Delegates to
make a Law to oblige all owners of Stone Horses to keep
them within good Inclosures And in Case such Stone Horses
shall break out of their Inclosures It shall be lawfull for any
person on his her or their own Lands and Plantations to take
up such Stone Horse or Horses and impound them until the
owner thereof pay and Satisfy unto such Person impounding
such -Horse or Horses 3sh Current mony for the releasment
thereof
That it shall be lawful to shoot any Stoned Colts running
in the Woods being above Sixteen months old
That it shall not be lawful for any person not having Land
of his own or renting a plantation to keep any breedg Mares
in the Woods upon the penalty of 600l tobo for every Breedg
Mare by such person owned & kept
That an Act be made therefore to take place the last of
May next

And thereupon the following Message was sent to the
House
By the Council in Assembly

November the 11th 1713

This Board being truly Sensible of the great Evil accruing
to this Province by the Multiplicity of useless Horses Mares
and Colts running in the Woods recommend to you that a
Short Law pursuant to the above proposals be made this
Session to obviate that mischief
Signed p Order W Bladen Cl Coun

And Sent to the House by Col Holland & Col Addison
Mr Leech and Mr Hill bring up the Journal of the Commit-
tee of Accompts Which being perused at this Board and
Several Errors found therein Resolved the same be remarked
to the House
The Board adjourned till Eight of the Clock to morrow
morning

Wednesday November the 12th 1712
The Council Sate Present as yesterday
Mr Samuel Worthington and six other members brought
up the Bill restraining the Inhabitants from Selling any Quan-
titys of liquors to the Indians and the following message
