a Law is not now passed many good Planters will desert their
Abodes and others to avoid Imprisonment will be induced to
resist Justice and Skulke in the Woods Whereby the happy
Peace and Tranquillity of this Province may be endangered:
We have been inclined to advise his Honour to consent to
the revising the said Law for the Time proposed purely to
avoid the mischiefs afd To which he is pleased to give Way

the Province that the Lord Propry be moved to accept of the
Rents in Tobo at 2d p pound and the 12d p Hhd to be given
to him as it now is for the Life of his Successour
