In answer to your Honours Message by Col Hammond
Col Holland Col Jenkins and Col Lloyd touching the mony
for New York Your Honours know that former Assemblys
have addressed her Majesty on that Subject and said it should
be ready when Called for and we do not know how soon it
may be Called for there being but barely that sum (if so much)
now in Stock and therefore we desire it may remain as it is
and the Address presented as agreed on

By the Council in Assembly Sepr 30th 1704.
The Message by Thomas Smith proposing the Tobo due to
the Keeper of the Great Seal, and some small Part of the
Councills and Burghesses Salaries to be paid in mony has
been considered by this Board and so no less Expectance of
the Value of Tobo this year than the last and formerly when
the Levy was payed in mony at 10s p Cent Tobo Wherefore
we agree such paymt should be made at the Rate to wit 10s p

Your Message by Mr Jones and Mr Magrowder is agreed
to by this Board and we desire the Address may be sent up
to be Signed
We have Sent the other Address to her Majesty of which
we desire your Approbation or that you will amend the same
as you think fitt
