These are the Regulations proposed for the Attornys Fees
wherein your Honours Concurrence is prayed that it may be
Part of the Law for settling officers Fees

Which being read the following Answer was sent by Mr
Sanders
By the Council in Assembly Sepr 30th 1704
This Board are already sensible of a very good Law of this
Province impowering the Justices to settle such Rules and
Fees as they shall think reasonable and do believe such Jus-
tices are proper judges therefore do allow only such as are
reasonable neither have they ever heard of any Act of Parliamt
settling Attorneys Fees in England but that they are always
settled by the Discretion of the Court where such Attornys

Came Mr Hudson and brought up the Bill for Administra-
tion of Justice in probat of Wills &c Engrossed which being
assented to by this Board was sent to the house by Col Ham-
mond Mr Sanders & Mr Cheseldyne
Major Low brings up the Bill for Limitation of officers Fees
which was read at this Board the first and second Time and
passed for Engrossing and sent to the House by Col Hammond
Mr Greenfield and six other members bring from the House
the Address to her Majesty about New York desiring it may
be signed
