indebted to any person or persons Residing or trading into
this province in any sume or sumes of mony or Tobacco that
then such Person or psons to whome the same are or shall be
Due shall be and are hereby obliged to take and receive of
and from such his her or their Debtor or Debtors tendring in
some Port or Town within this Province such Hemp or fflax
water Rotted bright Cleane and made merchantable One
fourth part of such Debt Due from such debtor or Debtors
that Can and will tender and pay the same after the rate of
six pence per pound for Hemp ; and nine pence per pound
for flax & so proportionably for any greater or Lesser quan-
tity and according to the same rate in tobacco att one penny
per pound and if any Creditor or Creditors shall refuse to
accept and take such quantity of Hemp or fflax att the Rates
aforesaid when to them tendred towards satisfaction of his
Debt and shall after such Tender bring any accon att Law
against the Debtor for the same that then such Debtor plead-
ing a tender of such Hemp or fflax & proving the same to
Effect the plaintif shall be non suite and shall pay Costs to
the Defendant.

An Act to Impower trustees to sell the freehold and Demesne
Land of Abraham Naylor Late of Ann Arundell County
Deceased & apply the money to the uses mentioned in his
Last Will and Testament.

Whereas Abraham Naylor late of Ann Arundell County
planter Deceased was in his Lifetime seized in ffee of One
Plantation & one hundred acres of Land or their abouts with
the appurtenances lyeing on or near Herrin Creek in Ann
Arundell and by his last will and testament in writing he Did
Devise that the said Plantacon and Land should be sold by
Samuell Chew & Nehemiah Birkhead of Ann Arundell Coun-
ty his trustees and Overseers by him nominated and appointed
by that his Last will and Testament and what Remained of
