respective Inhabitants of the said severall & respective Coun-
ties wherein the same shall become due and shall be Levyed
raised and Assessed by the Commissioners of Each respec-
tive County Courts by a due and Equall Assessment upon
Each Taxable Pson within the said severall Counties.

And be it Enacted by the Authority aforesaid by and with
the advice and consent aforesaid That for Talbot County Col.
Thomas Smithson for Queen Anne's County Mr Richard
Tilghman. For Kent County Colo Thomas Smyth for Cecill
County Mr John Hynson or in default of them or any of them
or any of them the next named to them in this Act are required
to give notice to the Sheriffs of the severall respective Coun-
ties mentioned in this act who upon such notice given to them
are required to give notice unto the severall Psons mentioned
in this Act of the time & place that such Persons shall meet
for the Executing the severall things in this Act contained
who upon such Notice to them given are hereby required to
Attend accordingly.

An Act for Erecting a Parish on the North Side of Elk River
in Cecill County.

Forasmuch as it hath been represented to this present Gen-
eral Assembly that by the Ill Situacon of the Parish Church in
Cecill County being built on the South side of Elk River

within the said County the Inhabitants on the north side of Elk
River Cannot come to that Church & are thereby Deprived
of the Great Blessing of having the Gospell preached among
them for remedy whereof It is prayed That it may be Enacted ;
And be it Enacted by the Queens most Excellent Majesty
by and with the Advice and Consent of her Majestys Gov-
ernour Councill and Assembly of this Province and the Au-
thority of the same That from and after the first day of May
One thousand Seven hundred and Six all that part of Cecill
County lying on the North side of Elk River being Bounded
