This Account being perused at this Board we cannot approve
thereof therefore refer it to the Examination of the House of
Delegates it seeming to be very unreasonable.

Read and referred by the House for further Consideration
Francis Jenkins Esqr enters the House and delivers Mr
Speaker Bill ascertaining Damages on protested Bills with In-
dorsment of the Honble Council.
Upon reading thereof this House thought fit no further to
proceed thereon
Colo John Contee, Mr John Jones and Mr Thomas Greenfield
is appointed to inspect & regulate the Account of Mr Samuel
Young sent to the House from the Honble Council and to
make Report of their Regulation to the House.
The House adjourns till two O' Clock Afternoon

The House met according to Adjournment.
Being called over were present as in the Morning.
Message from the Visitors of the Free School brought into
the House was here read and fully debated and ordered to
be indorsed Viz. By the House of Delegates Apl 17th 1706.
Upon reading the within Message this House offer £20 for
one whole Year's Rent of the School-House if the Visitors
of the Free School please to concur therewith.

Read the first and second Time and by especial Order do
pass.
Ingrossed Bill erecting a Parish on the North Side of Elk
River &Ca Indorsed April 18th 1 706.
Read and assented to by the House of Delegates.
Ingrossed Bill suspending the Prosecution of Popish Priests
&ta Indorsed April 18th 1706
Read and assented to by the House of Delegates. These
two ingrossed Bills and Bill declaring several Acts of Parlia-
ment to be in force sent up to the Council by Mr James Hay
and Mr Thomas Howe
They return and say they delivered the same.
