Bill for suspending Prosecution of Popish Priests
Bill for encouraging the making Hemp & Flax. Sent up
to the Council for their Honour's Concurrence by Mr Francis
Dallahyde and Mr Samuel Magruder
They return and say they delivered the Bills
Mr George Plater's Petition praying an Allowance for send-
ing several publick Letters and Packets to Annapolis &ta with
the Indorsment thereon, Read in the House and debated. It
is the opinion of the House that the Petitioner ought to have
sent such Letters and Packets to the next Sheriff who is obliged
to dispatch them away according to the Act of Assembly and
therefore his Petition is rejected.
Bill for erecting a new Parish in Cecil County
Read the first Time & by especial Order do pass Sent up
to the Council by Mr John Jones for their Concurrence
Ordered by the House that George Plater Esqr pay unto
Samuel Young Esqr 200£ Sterling within ten Days before
the Fleet go out of the Province.
Copy delivered him.

Mr Bladen's Memorial brought into the House p Edward

Lloyd and Wm Coursey Esq" relating to Colo Blakiston's
Agency and Salary for the same
Which being read and debated the House finds there is now
to Colo Blackiston for his Agency from the 17th Day of Sept.
1704 to the 17th Day of Sept. 1705 120l Sterling which is
ordered to be paid Mr Blade n by Colo Thomas Smithson Treas-
urer for the Eastern Shore for the use of the said Colo
Blackiston
As to the other Year's Agency Resolved to refer Payment
thereof till the year expire

Speaker Bill for erecting a new Parish in Cecil County, In-
dorsed By the Council in Assembly. Read the first Time and
will pass. Signed p Order W Bladen Cl Council.

Bill prohibiting European Goods to be exported Indorsed
April 18th 1706 By the Council in Assembly Read in Council
and passed W Bladen Cl. Con.

Sent to the Committee to be ingrossed.
Mr Samuel Young's Account together with a Message
brought into the House which Message was ordered to be
