but seldom in this war Time: Wherefore they most humbly
pray that this Honble House would be pleased further to
suspend the Execution of the said act until her Majesty's
Pleasure be declared thereon without Limitation of any set
Time lest that in the Interval of Assemblys such Time may
expire and thereby your Petitioners liable to be disturbed con-
trary to the Intention of the House and they will pray. Henry

Which being read and debated the House granted that
Petition. But put to the Question whether the Execution be
suspended 12 or 18 months.
Carried by Majority of Votes 12 Months be allowed.
Ordered the Committee of Laws bring in a Bill to suspend
the Execution of that Law for that Time.
Upon reading the Memorial of Mr Charles Carroll relating
to the Land Law, being read and debated in the House was
ordered to be indorsed as follows Viz.

By the House of Delegates April 11th 1706.
This House designing to end this Session by what Expedi-
tion they can Do resolve not to enter in any Debate upon
that Matter. Therefore refer the same to Consideration of
the next Session of Assembly.

of Fornication sent up to the Council by Mr Joseph Gray and
Mr Joseph Ennalls.

Mr Joseph Gray and Mr Joseph Ennalls enter the House and
say they delivered their Message of last Night
Bill for Advancement of Trade and erecting Ports and
Towns in the Province of Maryland, read the first Time and
referred to further Consideration.
Message from the Honble Council by Colo Edwd Lloyd and
William Coursey and delivers Mr Speaker Bill for ascertain-
ing the Navigation of open Sloops &ca Referred to be read
