Ordered the Committee of Accounts prepare an Address
to her Majesty about cleansing the Arms &ca
The House finding Mr Henry Coursey a Member for Tal-
bot County absent and shewing no sufficient Excuse therefor
Resolved unless he appear this Assembly he then to lie under
the Censure of the House
Upon reading a former Vote for some Person to examine
& correct the Press in Printing the Laws Resolved Mr Thomas
Bordley be appointed to do the same if he think fit to accept
thereof
Ordered he be called in who appeared and it being pro-
posed that the House is willing to give him for such Service
3000 lb of Tobacco and he accepted thereof and withdrew.
Ordered it be allowed.
Brought into the House the Report of the Committee of
Laws in Relation to the passing the Bill for Ordinary-Keep-
ers giving the Fine for the same to the Counties. Read and
debated in the House Ordered it be endorsed as follows Viz.
By the House of Delegates April 10th 1706. Upon reading
this Report the House concurs therewith.

May it please your Excellency,
This House has transmitted to your Excellency the Report
of the Committee of the House containing the Reasons for
passing the Act for regulating Ordinaries and therein applying
the Fines to the use of the respective Counties and which is
the Opinion of this House in Relation to Sir Thomas Law-
rence Petition to her Majesty.

Edward Lloyd Esqr from the Honble Council enters the
House and delivers Mr Speaker Petition of Major Josiah
Wilson Sheriff of Ann Arundel County read and fully de-
bated in the House is rejected.
Mr Ennalls and Mr Beale sent up to his Excy & Councel
with the Report of the Committee appointed till 2 O'Clock
