of the County between Elk and Susquehannah River may be
divided and made a Separate Parish from the other.
Which being debated in the House Ordered that a Bill be
prepared and brought into the House for the Division thereof
so that the Inhabitants or any for them ascertain the Bounds.
Colo Ennalls and Colo Coursey from the Council enter the
House & deliver Mr Speaker the following Message Viz.

By the Council in Assembly April 8th 1706

His Ex'cy thinks fit to acquaint you with the late Alarm we
had of a thousand Seneca's coming from the Northward with
Intent to cut off and carry away our Eastern Shore Indians
and therefore you have the Papers herewith sent you relating
thereto for your Perusal.
Signed p Order W Bladen Cl. Council.

Which being read as also the Papers ; Resolved it be
answered.

By the House of Delegates April 8th 1706

This House gives his Ex'cy Thanks for laying the Letters
relating to the Indians before them but they do not apprehend
any present Danger from the Indians which may give them
any Occasion of entring into any further Consideration of that
Matter They do also give his Ex'cy Thanks for his Care.

Sent up to the Council by Mr Peter Watts and Mr Francis
Dallahyde.
Bill enabling certain Trustees to sell Land given to St
Michael's Parish in Talbot County brought from the Council
by Colo Ennalls & Colo Coursey with Indorsement as follows
Viz. Eodem Die. Read in Council and this Board desire to
be fully satisfied whether there be no legal Objections to be
made by any pson yet unheard against the Bill and also to
have a Sight of Jones's Will

In Answer to which was thus indorsed

By the House of Delegates April 8th 1706

No Objections appear to this House; only it's said there is
a Brother and Sister, and have sent up a Copy of the Will as
desired Signed p Order W. Taylard Cl. Ho. Del.
