Peace. Mr Robert Bradly, Robert Tyler James Stoddert
Wm Tanyhill John Gerrard of the Quor. Abraham Clarke
Thomas Brooke junr Francis Marleborrough Thomas Claggett
Alexander Magrooder & Henry Acton. Whereof the first
six only in the Comission of Oyer & Terminer & first five
named of the Quor.
Mary Newells Petition read praying leave to Sell a Drame
& Coffee without paying the ordinary Lycence and recom-
ended to the house of Delegates for their Concurrence and
Sent together wth the following Message by Mr Sanders.

By the Councill in Assembly Aprill gth, 1706

Whereas heretofore a lott was layd out for the Rector of
St Ann's Parish in the Towne and Port of Anapolis and also
one other Lott for a Vestrye house, now forasmuch as there
is a very good Vestry house built and adjoyned to the Church
there will be no necessity that the former Vestry house should
remayne to that Use but that it may be highly necessary it be
anexed to the Parsons Lott and some further Improvement

made thereon, in order to some comfortable provision to be
made of an house for the Reception & Accomodation of a
Minister, to which his Exncy is willing to contribute if the
House thinke fit to give Encouragement thereto.

Mr Peter Watts brought up a Bill for uniting Newport
Hundred to William & Mary Parish in Charles County.
Which was read the first & second tymes and sent to the
house by Mr Coursey.
Ordered that Mr Evan Thomas of Talbott County cut a
Seale for the Councill Provinciall & severall County Courts
with her Matys Arms & Semper Eadem at the Bottome The
Councill Seale to be inscribed in the Circle Govr & Coun-
cill. The Provinciall Seale Provinciall Court & the Sevrall
County Courts Seals with the Names of the Countys, for
which he will be payed by the Publique and Severall Countys.
Mr Eliaz King and five other Members from the House
brought a Bill for regulating and dividing Several Countys
on the Easterne Shoar & Constituting a County by the name
of Queen Anns County, & the following Message.

By the House of Del. Aprll 9th 1706

This House prays that his Exncy the Governor will be pleased
to name the new County proposed by the Bill herewith Sent.
