hend any present Danger from the Indians which may give
them any Occasion of entring into any further Considerations
concerning that matter. They do also give his Exncy thanks
for his Care in that Busieness. The sd Mr Watts & Mr Dolla-
hyde bring up the Bill enabling Trustees to Sell Lands given
to the Use of St Michaels Parish thus endorsed.

By the house of Delegates. Ap" 8th 1706

No objection appear'd to this house, only it's sayd there is
a Brother & Sister and likewise have sent a Copy of the Will
as desired.

The said Solomon Jones's Will being read at the Board.
Colonel Ennalls was sent to the house wth the following
Message, Vizt

Journal.

By the Councill in Assembly, Apll 8th 1706

The said Solomon Jones's Will being read at this Boarde
as also the Petition of the Vestrye of St Michaels Parish
Upon due Consideration had thereof. The Will do's not
second the Petition. Which setts forth the said Jones did by
his last Will & Testament in writing bequeath his dwelling
Plantation to be sold and the Proffitts thereof to be appropri-
ated to a Chappel of Ease, but is alltogether uncertaine and
ho full Indication of the Testators minde. Wherefore altho"
this Board will be allways ready to assert the Churches Inter-
est, Yet they will be ever unwilling to do any thing that may
be unlawfull or irregular to the prejudice of any.
