The following Message being prepared in Answer to the
Report of the Conferees being read was ordered to be en-
tered as followeth Viz.
By the House of Delegates 23 May 1705
Upon reading the Report of the Conference yesterday the
House proceeded to debate the same. As to Celey this House
are of Opinion that the said Celey being now in the Mercy of
the Queen there is no need of an Act of Assembly to trans-
port him but leave him entirely to the Disposition of his
Excellency the Governor to do with him as he thinks fit.
2. As to the Magazine Stores to be distributed according
to the former Proposal and what remains to be left at his
Excellency's Disposal without the Charge of a Guard to
which this House readily concurred.
3. As to the Proposal concerning the Rangers this House
are willing to keep still out and Resolves that six men and an
Officer be appointed for Prince George's & six men & an
Officer for Baltimore County Rangers
And this House humbly proposes to his Ex'cy the Governor
Mem. Page 35 of the Journal wanting
