Together with the above came the following Message Viz.

Gents.
Herewith is sent you the Lords Baltimore's Agents Memo-
rial or Representation relating to the Land Law of which you
are desired to consider & return some Answer thereto
Signed p Order W Bladen Cl. Council

Whereupon Ordered it be answered as follows Viz.

By the House of Delegates May 22d 1705

Upon reading the Memorial of Mr Carroll relating to the
Land Law & your Honours Message it's considered by the
House and resolved that forasmuch as this House at first
Opening this Assembly continued all References upon their
Journals whereof this being one ; therefore this House pray
Concurrence & that the same may likewise be referred

The Petition of the Guards for Allowance read &u Referred
to the Committee of Accounts for Allowance.
Bill for outlawry of Richard Clarke &ta Read the first &
second Times & do pass
And ordered Mr Francis Dallahyde & Mr Gerrard Fowlks

carry the same up to his Excellency & Council for Concurrence
and likewise the Message for Referrence of the Land Law.
They return & say they delivered the same.
Reviving Bill for Punishment of Persons suborning Wit-
nesses Read the first and second Times & by especial Order
do pass.
Reviving Bill declaring an Act ascertaining the Bounds or
Land to be in force, Read the Ist & 2d Times & do pass
Bill for Punishment of Persons selling or transporting any
Friend Indians &ta Read the Ist & 2d Times & do pass
The foregoing Bills were sent up to the Council by Mr John
Taylor & Mr Watts.
They return & say they delivered their Bills
William Coursey Esqr from the Council enters the House
& delivers Mr Speaker the foll. Message Viz.
