Majesty's Subjects here Therefore we do humbly pray your
Excellency that no Ships or Vessels bound for Europe with
Tobacco may be cleard until a Sufficient Convoy shall appear to
take Care & Charge of them homeward or until such Time as
yr Excy in your Wisdom shall seem meet

Ordered Mr John Maclaster, Mr John Hudson, Mr John
Taylor and Mr Thomas How carry up the foregoing Message
to his Excy & Council.

The Honble Thomas Tench Esqr from the Council enters the
House and delivers Mr Speaker, Bill for Naturalization of Chris-
topher Dangerman ; Indorsed, Eodem Die

Read in Council the Ist & second Times & do pass.
W Bladen Cl Council.

And likewise delivered Mr Carroll's Memorial relating to
the Land Office with a Message relating thereto. The Con-
sideration whereof is referred till the Morning
The House adjourns till to Morrow Morning Seven O'Clock.

The House met again according to Adjournment.

Being called over were all present as Yesterday only Mr
Ennalls gone Home sick

Read what was done Yesterday.

Ordered That John Dally be sent for as Evidence upon
Escape of the Indians.

The Representation of Mr Charles Carroll brought into the
House last Night was read as followeth.

May the 15th 1705

May it please your Excellency,

I humbly crave Leave to mind your Excy of a Letter writ
by the Lords Commissioners of Trade & Plantations to this
Governmt relating to the wrongs done to the Lord Proprietor
in and by a Law Entituled an Act for ascertaining the Bounds
of Land and that no Answer has been given thereunto as yet
to the great Delay of doing his Ldship Justice in Matters so
apparently injurious to his Ldships Property I thought this the
most proper Time (the Assembly sitting) to give your Excy
this Intimation that by the next Return of Ships for England
I may be capable of informing his Lordship what shall be done
