that there shall not be any Thing wanting in in Its that may
promote her Majesty's Honour, the publick Peace & Tran-
quility of this her Majesty's Province & the Depression of all
Vice & Immorality whatsoever. Signed p Order

Which being read is ordered to be sent up to his Excellency
& Council p Mr Geo. Muschamp, Mr James Hay, Mr John
Contee, Mr Thomas Frisby, Mr John Macclaster, Colo William
Pearce, Mr John Jones, Mr William Aisquith, Mr Thomas
Beale, Mr Francis Dallahyde, Mr John Leach, & Mr Peter
Watts.
They return & say they delivered the same.
Ordered the following Message be read.

By the House of Delegates May the 18th 1705

We her Majesty's dutiful & loyal Subjects the Representa-
tives of the several Counties within this her Majesty's Province
of Maryland do give your Excellency our hearty Thanks for
the great Care that you have taken relating to the Indians
and other Matters which has so much disturbed our Peace &
Repose. And we do assure your Ex'cy that your prudent
Conduct therein has given us an entire Satisfaction of your
Goodness & Generosity towards us which we hope you will
upon all Occasions be pleased to repeat

Which being read is approved of by the House and ordered
that the above Gentlemen (Colo Pearce excepted) carry the
same up to his Excellency in Council
They return & say they delivered their Message.
The Honble Thomas Tench, Thomas Brooke, John Ham-
mond, Edward Lloyd & James Saunders and Thomas En-
nails Esqrs from the Council enter the House and deliver
Mr Speaker the following Message which being read is
ordered to be entered as follows Viz.

May the 18th 1705

Gent. If I have or can do any Thing for the Advantage
& Welfare of this her Majesty's Province & the Safety &
Prosperity of every Individual Member thereof your kind
Acceptance makes the fullest Recompence immaginable to
