Lieutt Col Thomas Smithsons Petition read setting forth
that he was taken sick at a Sessions of Assembly held the
twenty third day of October last and has been at great Charges
for Physick and Expences then having no business of his own
but only to serve the Country and prayed to be reimbursed
the said Charges and Expences
The said Petition being thought reasonable is recommended
to the House of Delegates for their Consideration and Al-
lowance
The Board adjourned till eight of the Clock to morrow
morning

Col Thomas Ennals being indisposed has leave given him
to go home
Mr Charles Kilburne's petition for allowance for looking
after the Guns and firing them on occasions as required read
and referred to the House of Delegates
Thomas Hebbs Petition read and referred to the House of
Delegates
Major Low Mr Leech Mr Eccleston and Mr Thomas Frisby
bring from the House a message in answer to the message by
Mr Coursey that the house has appointed them to join the
members of the Council on the Subject proposed
To which was returned.
By his Excy the Governour and Council in Assembly
September the 12th 1704.
This Board Judging that the Conference yesterday desired
by the House to Consider of what was therein proposed was
of great moment to the Province did not appoint less than five
of their members to join those of the House and therefore we
desire that you'll add some more of your members to those
you have already appointed to join with ours of this Board
