By the house of Dellegates May the 21st 1705

May it Please Yor Exncy
You having Comanded that an hundred men shall be att
all times Ready at the Comand of Each Coll in each Respec-
tive County to be Raised for the Countrys Service upon any
Expedition tis proposed to your Exncy and the honble Councill
by this house that a proportionable Quantity of Arms powder
and Ball be lodged in the Custody of each Coll out of the
Magazine Stores that the men may be Readily furnished
therewith upon any Such Expedition. And that Your Exncy
will be pleased to give Sufficient Orders to each Respective
Coll that upon any mocon or accon of the Indians those men
so raised may presently march agt them that no time may be
lost this we are of oppinion will Tend much to the Quiett of
the Inhabitants & the ffrontier Plantations.

Capt Jones & Mr Frisby bring from the house A Bill for the
Reliefe of Ann Arundell County.
Purposed by his Exncy that whereas he had Delivered him
By Charles Carroll one of the Lord Baltemores Agents a Memo-
riall in Relation to the Land Law that the same be sent to the
House for their Consideration which was Accordingly sent
to the house by Mr Tench with the following Message vizt.

By the Councill in Assembly May the 21st 1705

Gentn Herewith is sent you the Lord Baltemores Agents
memoriall or Representation Relating to the Land Law of
Which you are Desired to Consider and Returne some
Answer thereto.

Mr Macclaster and Three other Members bring from the
house the following Message Vizt.

May it please your Exncy

This house prays leave to represent to Yor Exncy & her
Matys hon:ble Council that they are highly Impaired & prejudiced
in their Interests and the whole Province much Impoverished
by the Trad" who Come hither by Single Ships one after
another before the Generall Fleet appointed to Come hither
