The Upper House. 451


Arundell County and divers other evil prsons to draw down
the Indians upon the Inhabitants of this Province and to Levy
Warr agt her Majestys Governour & Government
It is Resolved therefore by this house that her Matys
Attorney Genll do forthwith prosecute the said Clark and
all others his Accomplices for the said Crimes to the uttmost
Extent of the Law and the said Attorney is Directed to do
the same Accordingly
Resolved that this house will Enter into Examination what
Magazine Stores has been provided and Sett apart for the
publiq use & defence of this Province during the time that
Col Blakiston was Govr how and what is become of it &c.
Resolved that this house will upon all Occasions heartily
Joyn in Concert with the honble her Majestys Councill to
Support her Matys Government here and the honr & Reputa-
tion of his Exncy the present Governour.
And Resolved that the paper directed to the Protestants
of Maryland and which is now laid before this house is a
Scandalous Seditious Libell and that the Attorney Genll do
prosecute the Writer Contriver and Publisher thereof and
every of them and the said Attorny is Orded by this house
to prosecute the Same to the utmost Extent of the Law
accordingly

May it please your Exncy

Wee return you our hearty thanks for Comunicating to us
Mr Perry's Letter Relating to the State of New York Affair as
to this Province and which is very agreeable to us. Sr this
has given us new Assurance of your Care and watchfulness
to Improve Every thing that may Tend to our Advantage,
And we are sensible of this Great Blessing which We hum-
bly pray upon all such Occasions be Continued to us and do
now lay hold on this Oppertunity to Assure yor Exncy that as
wee can have none so wee will Entertaine none other Interest
than such as may promote her Matys honr and your Exncys
Fame and Reputation.
