Die Saturni 19o May 1705
By the Governour & Councill in Assembly

Wee propose if your House thinks fitt that for the better
preventing the Goale at Annapolis being at any time for the
future broke or the Prisoners oversetting the Goaler that a
small strong wooden lodge be added to one of the Doors
wherein the Goaler may and shall be Obliged to lye every
Night and this may be done at a Small Charge not Exceeding
six pounds Sterl or ffifteen hundred pounds of Tobacco.

Resolved that the Several Treaty s with the Indians be sent
to the house for their Perusal & Advice whether they think
any thing further necessary to be Added thereto
The said Articles sent to the house with the following Mes-
sage by Mr Sanders.

By the Councill in Assembly May 18th 1705

The Several Articles with the nations of Indians on the
Eastern Shore are herewith sent you for your Approbation
and to Advise what you think further proper to be Added
thereto. Signed p order W Bladen Cl Counll

Mr Frisby and Mr Stone bring from the house a bill to
Confirm a Certain Lre of Attorney from Wm Josephs to Wm
Josephs his son which was Read the first time at this Board

Mr Wells and Mr Philips bring from the house the Indian
Articles approved by the house and assented to.

The Boarde Adjourned for two hours.

Post Meridiem Council Sate prsent as before

Came Mr Hays & Mr Jones from the house with a Bill for
the Naturalization of Christopher Dangerman of Calvert
County which was Read the first time

Major Taylor and four other Members bring from the
house as foll :

By the House of Dellegates May 19th 1705

Resolves of the house humbly Offered to his Exncy and
Council as follows

Whereas it Appears to this house that there has been a
Treasonable Combination between Richard Clark of Ann
