forasmuch as notwithstanding with our peaceable Carriage
towards them & our Threatnings have not prevailed upon
them to return to their ancient Dwelling this House hath a
good Disposition to make War upon them were it not that
we have already undertaken some Business of great Charge
therefore we humbly advise your Excellency to call in the
Soldiers & to treat with the said Indians at present in Friendly
Manner and to dissemble the Resentment of the English tiil
they be better capacitated to carry on a War, and have more
Certainty of their Treachery & Guiltiness

Ordered That Mr John Hudson & Mr James Hey carry
up to the Council both the aforegoing Messages.
They return & say they delivered the same.
Bill suspending the Prosecution of Jesuits &ca
Bill for rebuilding the Stadt House. Ordered they be
indorsed Viz.
December the 9th 1704. Read the first & second Times &
by especial Order do pass W. Taylard Cl. Ho. Del.

Ordered That Mr Hugh Eccleston carry up the aforegoing
Bills to the Council
He returns & says he delivered the same.
Ingrossed Bill for Division of St. Paul's Parish &ta indorsed
December the 9th 1704.
Read & assented to by the House of Delegates

Ingrossed Bill declaring the ActEntituled an Act ascertaining
the Bounds of Land to be in force, indorsed by Order Decem-
ber the 9th 1704. Read & assented to by the House of

Arundel & Oxford Towns into Ports & Towns formerly made
to be in force Indorsed p Order. Read first & second Times
