forasmuch as notwithstanding with our peaceable Carriage
towards them & our Threatnings have not prevailed upon
them to return to their ancient Dwelling this House hath a
good Disposition to make War upon them were it not that
we have already undertaken some Business of great Charge
therefore we humbly advise your Excellency to call in the
Soldiers & to treat with the said Indians at present in Friendly
Manner and to dissemble the Resentment of the English tiil
they be better capacitated to carry on a War, and have more
Certainty of their Treachery & Guiltiness
