404 Assembly Proceedings, Dec. 5-9, 1704.

Post Meridiem. The House met again according to Ad-
journment.
Being called over were all present as in the Morning, only
Mr Greenfield, who had Liberty to go Home. Colo Bell had
Permission to enter the House who gave some Account of
the Piscattaway Indians & so was ordered to withdraw.
The Honble Thomas Brooke Esqr enter the House & deliv-
ers the Bill for Division of St Paul's Parish in Prince George's
County indorsed ; Eodem Die, Read in Counl and will pass.
W Bladen Cl Council.

Ordered That it be ingrossed
The Committee of Laws brought in the following Bills
which were read.
Bill declaring the Act ascertaining the Bounds of Lands to
be in force, indorsed
Read the first & second Times & by especial Order do
pass. W. Taylard Cl. Ho. Del.

Bill declaring several Acts to be in force indorsed.
Read the first & second Times by especial Order do pass
W Taylard Clk Ho. Del.

Ordered That Mr John Mackaster & Mr Samuel Magruder
carry the aforegoing Bills up to the Council. They retnrn &
say they delivered their Bills.
Colo John Hammond and Colo William Holland enters the
House and delivers Mr Speaker the Bill declaring several
Acts of Assembly to be in force thus indorsed.

By the Governor & Council December the 8th 1704.

This Bill seems to interfere with her Majesty's Royal
Instructions comprising several Laws of different Natures so
that if her Majesty Disassents to any one of them the rest
will be all repealed thereby Wherefore it is recommended
that seperate Bills be prepared to declare the several Laws
distinctly in force W Bladen Cl. Council.

Which being read this House concurs therewith & ordered
Seperate Bills be ingrossed.
Then the House adjourned till to Morrow Morning Eight
O'Clock

Saturday December the 9th 1 704.

The House again met according to Adjournment. Being
called over were all present as yesterday.
