Your sending for those Bills to the late Speakers House in
Charles County which You comunicated to this House and the
transcribing of them Wee acknowledge have been very advan-
tageous to the Dispatch of Affairs in this House Wee highly
applaude Your Care and Prudence therein, and returne Your
Exncy our most hearty thanks for the same.

Came Mr Hill with the proposed Ordinance for erecting
the Publique Pews in St Anns Church in Annapolis. Which
was assented to & sent to the House by Mr Coursey.
Mr Hill brought up a Bill read in the House for Lymitting
Officers ffees.
Which was read at the Boarde the first & Second tymes
and Sent to the House by Mr Sanders.
Whereas Richard Clarke of Ann Arundell County stands
indicted as well in the Provinciall as that County Court for
divers heinous offences as Forgery & uncasing and altering
the Quality of Tobacco against whom Sundry Process of
Capt & Attachmt have at her Matys suite been awarded ; agt
which He stands out riding armed to the Terrour of the
Sherriffe and other her Matys Liege People in Contempt of
the Law and breach of her Matys Peace &c.
It is therefore proposed that a peall Act do pass this
Session of Assembly to outlaw the said Richd Clarke in case
he do not surrender himselfe to Justice within twenty Days
after the Copy of the said Act is by the Sheriffe left at his
house.
Ordrd the said Proposall be carryed to the House by Col
Wm Holland
The Councill adjourn'd untill 8 of the Clock to morrow
morning
