fifty pounds of Tobacco per day and the Delegates and Bur-
gesses of Assembly shall be allowed the sume of One hundred
and forty pounds of Tobacco per day during the time they

shall attend such Assemblys and no more (besides their Itin-
erant Charges) to be paid and allow'd them out of the publiq
Levy of this province And the Severall and respective Comrs
of the Provincial Courts for the defraying their Charges and
expences during the time they shall sitt in & attend such
Courts the Sume of one hundred and forty pounds of Tobacco
per day and no more (besides their Itinerant Charges) to be
paid them likewise out of the Publiq Levy of this Province
as aforesaid And the severall Comissioners of the County
Courts shall be allowed for the defraying of their expences
during the Time they shall sitt in and attend such Courts as
aforesaid the Sume of Eighty pounds of Tobacco per day
and no more which Sume of Eighty pounds of Tobacco as
afd the said Comrs of the County Courts are hereby Impow-
ered to Assess and leavy where such Comissioners shall serve
as aforesaid for the defraying the Expences aforesaid And no
more.
Provided allways And it is the true Intent and Meaning
of this Act that where any Justices of any County Court
being a full Court or above the Number of seven shall agree
together in Court sitting and Consent to lessen any Allowance
hereby given or if it be to take the same totally of it shall
and may be lawfull to such full Court to lessen and take off
any part of the Allowance hereby given and settled to the
Comissioners of the said County Courts and entring such
Rule in the Record shall for that year be an absolute Law
and rule for every Justice of that County Court as to their
Expences And it shall not be lawfull to collect or Raise any
more tobacco for defraying the County Courts Justices Ex-
pences than so much as by such Consent and rule shall be
limitted and agreed on as aforesaid And if they see fitt to
make the same rule or such other as they shall agree on as
aforesaid one in every year any thing herein to the Contrary
notwithstanding.
