Maj'y and Your dependance on Coll Blakistone And haue
resolvd to loyne with You in the said Address And doubt not
but his Excy will be inclind thereto likewise therefore proposed
that it be fairly transcribed

Which being read orderd the same be transcribed. And is
Sent up to the Comittee of laws for that purpose.
The following Engrost bills brought into the house and
orderd to be read.
Engt bill for Appeals & Writts of Error
Engrost Bill for regulating the Millitia.
Read And Assented to by the house of Delegates.
Part of the Iournall of Accounts read And the rest to be
read to morrow.
The honoble Ino Hamond Esqr Francis Jenkins Edward
Lloyd and Wm Holland Esqrs enters the house and delivers
Mr Speaker the following Message.

By his Excy the Governor & Councill in Assembly.
Septr 29th 1704.

Resolvd by this board that An Address be sent her Majty to
Congratulate the Success of her Armes under the Conduct of
his Grace the Duke of Marlborough And that the thanks of his
Excy the Govr this Board And the Genll Assembly be Given
her Majty for placeing his Grace in that Station since the loss
of his Majty King William of Glorious Memory.

Read And Resolvd An address be prepared and this other
Message Vizt

By the Govr & Councill in Assembly
Septr 29th 1704.

Wee doubt not but many Gent Among you are throughly
Sencible of What Vallue the honob Mr Blathwaits Freindship
may be to this province in Genll being the only Gent my self
or Coll Blakistone can apply to on any occasion for the Ease
or Advantage of the province Therefore recomend to the house
that You would Seriously consider of the referrence last As-
sembly to this for selling some Annuall sallary on the sd Mr
Blathwait As he is Auditor Generall thro' whose hands the
Accounts of this province must pass
