They returne and say they deliverd the bills.
The house proceed to reading the following bills.
Bill Ascertaining the Gauge of tob hogsheads.
Bill to encourage the Inhabitants to send shipps Abroad.
Bill declaring how fees for private Acts be proportioned.
Bill prohibitting Mars of Shipps transporting prsons without
passes.
Bill prohibitting the Importacon of bread etc.
All read the 2d time and Sent up to his Excy & Councill p

and delivers Mr Speaker A proclamation for preventing and
punishing Imorallity & prophaness.
Which was here read and orderd to be thus endors'd.

to promote & encourage the same.

The Gent Members Appointed to consider New Yorke
. Affaire And the members of the house likewise Attending the
Conferrence About Selling the land records &c. are orderd to
Attend the conferrences this morning who withdrew Ac-
cordingly.
The Bill for prohibition of bread beer &c. came into the
house and upon debate made It was resolvd the same be
