Read in Counciil the first time and recomended that the
Sallary of Councellors be incerted. W Bladen Cl Coun

Bill for Advancement of Natives etc.

Coll Ino Addison and Iames Saunders Esqr enter the house
And delivers Mr Speaker the following bills.
Bill to make Vallid All manner of process &ca

Bill confirming to the Govr the duty of 3d p tonn
Endorsd Read in Councill & will pass. W Bladen Cl Co.

Orderd the foregoing bills be read in the house in the
afternoone
Mr Sam" Dorsey According to order Enters the house p
permission And being demanded by Mr Speaker if he had
any thing to Say why A bill should not pass for Sale of land
etc. He answerd that forasmuch as it is Entaild And he a
party concernd Could not Consent to it Unless the money
that shalbe raizd by Sale thereof or so much thereof as he is
Concernd with be paid and deliverd to him
Jt was declard by Coll Dorsey that it was Allways so
intended.
