ince Especially considering the great number of laws that is
like to pass this Sessions of Assembly.
Therefore wee humbly pray your Excy to lett us know if
there be any Absolute necessity of passing the laws Separately
and with the charge of the great Seale to every of them or that
the great Seale Affixing to All of them in one body with the
Royall Assent at the end of each Session may be sufficient as
has been used heretofore the granting whereof (if it may be)
will lessen the charge of this province.

Smallwood and Mr Gerrard Fowlks And the bill confirming
to the Governour the Antient duty of 3d p tonn
Bill to confirme all proceedings at law &ca to this time.
Proposed by A member that forasmuch as the Regr of the
Commissarys Court and the severall Deputy's are not enjoynd
by any law to performe their dutys in such offices which being
debated
Jts Resolvd that A law be prepar'd to enforce them to their
dutys under A penalty.
And the Comittee of laws are desired to inspect the law for
Admtracon of Justice in probatt of Wills &ca and report to
the house What Amendments Are necessary

The house met againe According to Adjournment.
Being calld over were All prsent as yesterday
Read what was done Yesterday.
Orderd the Gent appointed to loyne in Conferrence About
the New York Affaires attend the Gent of the Councill
Proposd that forasmuch as that business is of A High Con-
cerne to this province there be more members to loyne.
Thereupon Resolved that Mr Samll Young & Mr Thomas
Greenfeild be Added to the members of this house upon that
Conferrence and are orderd to withdraw.
The house proceed to reading the bills
Dowlins peticon and bill for Selling land &ca
Read the Ist time.
Bill for Sumoning Grand & Pettit Iurors.
Bill for Selling fees for Naturallization and other private bills
Bill prohibiting the importacon of bread.
Bill Appointing Court days.
Bill Encourageing to Venture Shipps etc.
All the foregoeing bills were read in the house the first time.
