borough Mr Iohn Macall And Mr Francis Dollahyde to be A
Comittee of Election and privileidges to Examine such matters
that come before them and make reporte thereof to the house.
Mr Thomas Greenfeild Coll Iames Maxwell and Mr Iohn
Wells are by the house appointed A Comittee to enquire
into the Agrievances of the province and are order'd to make
report to the house of their proceedings.
Resolvd by the house Nemine Contradicente that one and
twenty Members and Mr Speaker shalbe sufficient to compose
A house to proceed upon business
The house Adjourn'd till two A Clock in the afternoon

The house mett againe According to Adjournmt and being
calld over the members were prsent as in the morning.
Moov'd by a Member that the Iournallof last Assembly be
read to discover what referrences there are to this present
Assembly therefore Resolv'd that the Iournall of the last Ses-
sions of Assembly held at Annapolis the 26 day of Aprill last
be read in the house upon reading thereof this house finde
Severall proposalls referrd to the consideracon of this Assem-
bly Therefore have thought fitt they be now Consider'd And
for that purpose the house have order'd perticuler remarks to
be made of them to be laid before the house for their Consi-
deracon
Order'd that the Gent Appointed for their Comittees goe
forth upon their business.
Upon reading and debating one referrence of last Assem-
bly relating to revising the laws
The house Nemine Contradicente Resolves it Absolutely
necessary that the whole body of laws be revisd And that
Message be sent his Excy to signify the same.
Bill regulating ordinary's and limitting the Number of them
&ca Deliverd to Mr Watts who is order'd to carry the same to
the Clerke of the Comittee of Laws that it may be fairly tran-
scribed, and ready to be laid before the house to morrow
morning.
The Severall Comittees enter the house.
Mr Wm Watts Acquaints Mr Speaker that his Excy had
Comanded him Mr Thomas Beale and Mr Peter Watts to At-
tend him in Councill upon some matters that lye before them
Therefore prayd liberty of the house to give their Attendance
as Was requir'd, Which being granted they departed the house
but soone After returnd and tooke their places in the house.
