    before your Excellency, if you in your Wisdom shall think fit Lib. M.

    as Your Petitioner ever doth pray

   

                                   John Brannock

   

      Ordered that the Clerk of this Board send Major Henry

    Ennals a Copy of the said Petition, and that Summons issue

    for the said Mr Henry Ennals, and Mr John Tollett, and all

    such Evidences as the Petr shall desire, to attend this Board

    on the twenty second of July next.

     Summons accordingly issued for Majr Ennais, and Mr Tol

    lett, and at the Request of the Petitioner, for Mr Tobias

    Pollard and Mr Thomas Brannock

   

   

   

     At a Council held in the Council Chamber on Tuesday the P. 3S

    sixteenth Day of June in the sixteenth Year of His Lordships

    Dominion &c Annoq Domini 1730

                        Present

       His Excellency Benedict Leonard Calvert Governor

               Charles Calvert Esqr     Coll: M. Tiighman Ward

      The      Coll Will: Holland       John Rousby Esqr

     Honble    John Hall Esq            Benjamin Tasker Escf

               Philemon Lloyd Esqr      Coll John Rider

               Coll Richd Tilghman

   

             Members of His Lordps Honble Council

   

     Forasmuch as it is represented to this Board that several

    Persons have attempted to procure Warrants, and to take up

    Lands heretofore supposed to be Mannor Lands and likewise

    Lands already leased or otherwise reserved for his Lordships

    Use

     It is the Opinion of this Board that such Land ought not

    to be taken up by any Person whatsoever, but be and remain

    to his Lordship as Land reserved, for his own Use aithô not

    contained within the Bounds of any of His Lordships Man

    nors.

      It is therefore ordered that no Person or Persons be per

    mitted to survey or take up any such Lands, and that a Clause

    be inserted in all Warrants issuing out of the Land Office for

    the future restraining the Surveyors from laying out any such

    Land for any Person whatsoever

      And it is farther Ordered that an Entry be made of the

    above Order in the Records of the Land Office for the better

    Information of all Persons concerned therein
