                  Maryland and the Honourable Council

                    The humble Petition of John Brannock of Dorchester

                  County

                  Humbly Sheweth unto your Excellency

                    That Whereas your Petitioner has exhibited his Petition of

                  Complaint against Henry Ennals Chief Judge of Dorchester

                  County Court which Complaint stands for Determination be

                  fore Your Excellency and Counsel, but forasmuch as the Evi

                  dences are not here to prove the facts contained in the Sd Peti-

                  tion although Summonses hath issued for the same Your Peti

                  tioner humbly prayes that he may have Summonses for the

                  several Evidences to appear at such Time as your Excellency

                  shall think fit, and that the said Summonses may issue to the

                  Coroner of Dorchester County, the Sheriff being of Affinity

                  to the said Ennals that Justice may be done therein as your

                  Petitioner doth pray           John Brannock

                    Advised by this Board that a farther Time be given to the

                  sd Bratmock to make appear the Reasons of his Complaint

                  against the said Henry Ennals, and that the Clerk of this

                  Board issue Summons for all such Evidences as shall be

                  nominated by Either of the Partys

                    At a Council held in the Council Chamber on Thursday the

                  twenty fourth Day of July in the sixteenth Year of His Lord.
