    have due Notice thereof I do strictly charge and Command Lib. M.

    the sev' Sheriffs of this Province to make this my Proclama

    tion publick in their respective Counties in the usual manner

    as they will answer the Contrary at their Peril Given at An

    napolis this 13th Day of February in the fourteenth Year of

    His Lordps the Lord Proprietarys Dominion &c Annoq

      At a Council held at the House of his Excellency the Gov

    ernor in the City of Annapolis on Tuesday the 18th Day of

    February in the fourteenth Year of His Ldps the Lord Pro

    prietarys Dominion &c Annoq Dmi 1728.

   

                        Present

            Members of His Ldps Honble Council

      The Proclamation being prepared pursuant to an Order of p. 13

    this Board of the 13th Instant was read, and approved of, and

    ordered to issue accordingly.

      The Tenor of which is as follows

   

   

    Maryland ss.

      By His Excellency Benedict Leonard Calvert Govt & Com

    mandr in Chief in & over the Province of Maryland

   

                     A Proclamation

      Whereas I have received His most Sacred Majestys In

    structions bearing Date at the Court of Richmond the 18th

    Day of June 1728 in the second Year of his Reign thereby

    declaring his Royal Will and Pleasure that in all the Prayers

    Litanies and Collects for the Royal Family instead of the

    Words [His Royal Highness George Prince of Wales the

    Princess and their Issue and all the Royal Family] there should

    be inserted [Our Gracious Queen Caroline the Royal Issue

    and the Rest. of the Royal Family] with His Royal Command

    That his said Will and Pleasure be forthwith published in the

    several Parish Churches and other Places of Divine Worship

    within this Province that Obedience be paid thereto accord

    ingly I do therefore by and with the Advice of His Lord-
