462 Proceedings of the Council of Maryland, 1726.

X. happen after the date hereof to Answer the Complaint Exhib P. ited against them by the said Indians Ordered that the Summons that Issued in May last against Iohn Parker John Parker junr and John Murray directed to the Sheriff of Somerset County be renewed Which Summons Issued Accordingly His Honour the Governor asks the Opinion of this Board whether the Arms now in the Council Chamber designed for the Several Countys of this Province should not be sent to the seperate Countys the proper Officer of each County Ap plying for the same who are of Opinion that it would be more proper to postpone the same till the next Sessions of Assembly His Honour the Governor having nothing of moment to lay before the Assembly on the 2d Tuesday in November next to which time the same stands prorogued desires the Opinion of this Board what time will be proper further to Prorogue the same to who are of Opinion that the 2d Tuesday in Feb ruary next is the most proper time To which his Honour Concurs Ordered Proclamations issue accordingly

A Proclamation
Whereas this present General Assembly stands Prorogued to the Second Tuesday in November next being the Eighth day of the same month and whereas there is no Business of moment which requires their Attendance at that time have therefore thought fit with the advice of his Lordships Council of State further to Prorogue the same and I do hereby further Prorogue the same to the 2d Tuesday in febru p. 160 ary next being the 14th day of the same month and to the Intent that all persons Concernd may have due Notice thereof I do strictly require and Command the several Sheriffs of this Province to make this my Proclamation publick in their respect ive Counties in the usual manner as they will Answer the Contrary at their Perill Given at Annapolis this 26th day of October in the Eleventh Year of the dominion of the right Honorable Charles Absolute Lord and Proprietary of the Provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltimore &c Annoq Dni 1726
