                     By the Honble Charles Calvert Esqr Capt Genl & Lieut

                   Governor

                                A Proclamation

                     Whereas this present General Assembly was to meet this day

                   being the day of October pursuant to the writts of Election

                   and whereas there is not a sufficient Number of the Upper

                   House met to proceed on Business I have therefore thought fit

                   with the advice of his Lordships Council of State to prorogue the

                   same and I do hereby prorogue the same to Wednesday

                   the 6th Instant and to the Intent that all persons Concern'd

                   may have due Notice thereof I do strictly require and Commd

                   the Sheriff of Ann Arundell County to make this my Procla

                   mation publick in the usual manner as he will Answer the

                   Contrary at his Peril Given at Annapolis this 5th day of Oc

                   tober in the tenth year of his Lordships Dominion &c Annoq

                   Dom 1725

              

                     His Excellency the Governor Acquaints this Board that his

                   Lordship the Lord Proprietary has by his Commands to

                   his Excellency Constituted Philip Lee Esqr a member of his

                   Lordships Honble Council

                     Whereupon the said Philip Lee takes the several Oaths to

                   the Government appointed by Law & Likewise the Oath of a

                   Councillor and Subscribed the Oath of Abjuration and Test

                   and took his place at the Board Accordingly

                   of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord King George and in the

                   eleventh year of his Ldshp the Lord Proprietarys Dominion
