C. P. without the Kings Dominions every such Imprisonment being thereby declared to be illegall And that if any such Subject shall be so Imprisoned he or she may maintain by Vertue of that Act An Action or Actions of false Imprisonment in any Court of record against the pson or psons by whom he or she shall be Committed detained Imprison'd sent Prisoners or Transported And against all or any pson or psons that shall Contrive frame write Seal Sign or Countersign any warrant or writeing for such Comittmt detain Imprisonment or Transpor- tation or shall be adviseing aiding or Assisting in the same or any of them and that the Plaintiffe in every such Action shall recover Triple Costs besides damages And that the damages shall not be less than five hundred pounds Sterling and that the person or psons who shall knowingly frame Contrive write Seal or Countersign any warrant or such Comittmt detainer or Transportation or shall Comitt detain Imprison or Transport any pson or psons Contrary to that Act or be any ways adviseing aiding or Assisting therein being lawfully Convicted thereof shall be disabled thence forth to bear any Office of Trust or pfitt within the Kings Dominions and incurr the Penalties of the Statute of Premunire made in the second year of King Richard the Second and be incapable of any Pardon from the King for the said forfeiture losses or disabilities Excepting such as shall by Contract agree with any Merchant or Owner of a plantation or other Psons to be transported ad receive Earnest on such Agreemt And such as shall be lawfully Convicted of felony and shall in Open Court pray to be transported and we whose names are subscribed being Imprisoned in upon Suspicion of high Treason and in the Custody of the high Sherriffe of And his under Sherr Mr and we being Informed that high Sher rife under Sherriffe Capt James Butler together with Sr Thomas Johnson Richd Guildart Richd Kelsoe Henry & Richd Trafford Merchts Severall Masters of Ships and other psons unknown to us have Taken or to Transport us Virginia or some other Part beyond the Seas and there to keep us in Prison or sell & dispose of us as Servants or other wise at their wills & pleasures, Now we do declare and give notice to you and all other psons that we do not Consent or agree to our or any of our being Transported as afd or in any other manner by the Psons above named or any them or by any other Pson or Psons to any part or parts beyond the Seas whatsoever and we do hereby Protest agt the same Unless that a Sufficient & legall Warrant Order or Comission be Produced and Exhibited to us to transport us in manner aid And in Case any Orders warrant or Commission pretended Sufficient be produced and Exhibited to us by the afore
