within the said Province and over them to appoint Proper Lib. W. B. Officers and them to move & remove at Your Will and Pleasure Provided allways that nothing herein before Con teined shall be deemed Construed or taken to Extend or give any Power or Authority to you the sd John Hart to do Per forme Act Consent Acquiesce or agree unto any thing by means whereof the sd Lord Baltemore or his Heirs may be impeached Hurt or Prejudiced in their Royaltys Jurisdictions Property Right Title or Interest of and in the sd Province or any Part thereof anything herein before conteined to the Con trary thereof in any wise nothwithstanding And all Persons p. 65 whatsoever within the sd Province of what Quality or Condi tion soever they be are hereby strictly Charged required and Commanded to Yeild Give and Pay unto you all Respect Submission and obedience as they will answer the Contrary at their utmost Perill. To hold Execute & Enjoy the sd Office of Lieutent and Cheif Governr of the sd Province of Maryland with all and every the Powers and Authoritys herein before granted or mentioned to be granted unto You as aforesd dur ing the Pleasure of me the sd Lord Balternore You the sd John Hart observing and performing such Orders & Instructions as from Tyme to Tyme You shall recieve from me the sd Lord Baltemore or from my sd Guardian And lastly I do hereby re voke repeale and make voyd all former Commissions whatso ever given to You or any former Governr or Commander in cheif of the sd Province of Maryland Given under the Hands and Seals of the sd Lord Baltemore and Lord Guilford in London this thirtieth Day of May in the first Year of Our Sovereigne p. 66 Lord King George &c. and the first Year of Our Dominion of the sd Province Annoq Dni One thousand Seaven hundred and fifteen Baltemore [Seale] Guilford[Seale]
And then desired the Opinion of the Council whether the former Objections agt his Surrendring up the Governmt with out particular Directions from the Crowne be not Sufficiently Answered. Whereupon it Appearing under his most Sacred Majesty's Signe Manual & Privy Seale that he had been graciously Pleased to Approve of his being the Lord Proprietors Lt Governour in Cheife in this Province. All the Members of His Majesty's Council now present Unanimously answer they do think the sd former Objections are now Sufficiently answered And that it is their Opinion and Advice that His Excellency shou'd forthwith Surrender up the Governmt of this Province to his Lordship the Lord Proprietor and Accept of and Execute his Lordships Commis
