Produced and read the Lords of Trade &c. Letter of the 16th of ffebry & Seventeenth of March 1703/4 with the Earle of Nottinghams Letter to his Excellency of the 23d of ffebry 1703/4. Whereby her Majesty gives Leave to Trade with the Subjects of Spaine. Saving Arms & Amunition. Her Majestys Letter of the 29th of Febry 1703/4 Directing his Excellencys Care in the Disposition of Prizes and Secur ing the Lord High Admiralls Dues. The prince of Denmarke Lord High Admiralls Order of the 4th of March to the Governour to give Certificates of the Treaty with Algier by Rear Admie Bing to all Shipps Built here. Produced and read a Letter to his Exncy the Governour from the Rector of her Majestys Colledge of William and Mary in Virginia together with the Comissioners of the Customs Letter to the Governour of Virginia upon the Said Colledges Complaint desireing his Excellency to quicken the Collectors p. 15 in making up their Accounts of the one Penny p pound on Tobacco and to take Bond from the Said Collectors to the Colledge for their Answering the. The Board do Say they do think the Collectors have already given Bonds Sufficient to Answer the said Duty. It being represented that her Majesty has a mann of War at New York wch is Shortly bound for Europe. It is proposed that in Case the Said Mann of Warr Should call at the Capes of Virginia Whether the Merchant Shipp in this Province bound for Europe Should not be Admitted to Sayle under her Convoy And Advised and resolved that they be so so Admitted to Sayle. Resolved that this Board do consider before the Sitting of the Next Assembly and Advise his Excellency what is fitting to be Proposed to their Consideration, beside what already is reffered to them Memdm His Excellency Coll Nicholson the Governr of Virginia gave Bills for thirty pounds which were lodged in the honrble Col John Hamonds hands for the Use of the Church at Annapolis
