    the said Sum of three hundred pounds may be transmitted to      Lib. X.

    me by Bills upon some person in London which I conceive 330

    will be the easiest way both for you & us I shall not fail to

    acquaint the Queen with your readiness in this matter

                               I am

                               Gentlemen your very humble Servant

      Council of Maryland          Cornbury

   

      This Letter and Answer thereto referred to the Considera

    tion of a full Council proposed God willing to meet here the

    22d Instant

      Ordered that notice be given Lieut Colo Thomas Smithson

    publick Treasurer of the Eastern Shore to transmit hither

    what money in his hands in Order to make up the part of

    Quota voted by the Assembly by Bills if Possible

   

   

   

      At a Council held at the Town & Port of Annapolis June

    23d 1703

     Produced & read her Majestys Gracious Order in Council

    for the Confirmation of Our act of Assembly for the establish

    ment of Religious worship in this Provs &ca which said Order

    is resolved by this Board to be published in all the Churches

    of this Province

      Read their Lordships the right Honble the Lords of trade

    & plantations Letter of the 26th of Jany 1702/3 with her

    Majestys Additional Instruction to the President & Council

    relating to the Ships not Sayling without Convoys in this time   p. 331

    of War

      His Honour the President acquaints the Board that pur

    suant thereto he had ordered the Officers of the Customs in

    this Province not to clear any Ships until further Order.

      The Lord Cornburys Letter read the last Council again and

    read Considered and Ordered that the folo Letter be sent to

    his Lordship vizt

   

                 Maryland June 23d 1703

   

    May it please your Lordship

      We had the honour of your Lordships Letter of the 25th of

    May last from the hands of his Excellency Colonel Nicholson
