    & papers whatsoever that the Same are all that Came into           Lib. H. D.

    their hands & have not been blotted Defac'd or altered since

    they so Came to their hands respectively All which papers

    Writings Bills of Lading &c you shall particularly Specify

    figuring each of them i. 2. 3 &c. to avoid Confusion & trans

    mitt them unto us, or to a proper Court for prizes if any such

    be Established in pensilvania or Maryland or Attested Copys

    wch are to be thereof Chose Seale'd up together with the De

    figur'd 1. 2. 3. positions or answer to the afd Interrogations with

    &c. & sent up all possible Speed or take Care they be so trans-    

    mitted together with an Accot of the Lading whether perish

    able or not.

      4thly You are to prevent & hinder as much as in you lies

    all Inbeziements & Wasts that may by ffraud or Neglect be

    Comitted or Happen to any Shipp or Goods so put into yor

    Custody by making Light & Sound any Casq or stopping

    any Leakage that you Can come at & placing Sufficient Hon

    est Waiters on board you shall Seale up and secure the

    Hatches port Holes & other places by which such Goods

    might be Imbezled And have a Diligent Eye yourself for the

    security thereof, And you shall require the Assistance of any

    Officer or Subject of her Maty Resident as your port or within       p. 185

    the Districts thereof whereit shall be necessary either for the

    Discovery of such practices or securing any the Goods belong

    ing to your Charge or the persons offending in the premisses

    And you Authoriz'd to Seize such Goods & proceed in the

    punishmt of such Offenders according to Law & give us

    notice of your Actings herein.

      5thly Having so examin'd Inventoryed and secured the

    premisses aforesaid & Given an Accot thereof to us or to a

    proper Court of prizes as afd you are (if any opurtunity of

    Convoy offers it Self And it may best serve the Interest of

    her Maty and the Captors) to hire and Contract with Seamen

    & Mariners to Navigate the said Ship from any of yor ports

    or Creeks to England & send us the Rates by you agreed

    upon & an Accot of payable to the respective persons

    employ'd by you in such Service & you are to deliver such

    Ship by Indenture for her Matys use as you recd her Sealing

    up a Duplicate of the said Indenture and Inventory thereof

    & send the Same to us with a Certificate in what Condition

    the Ship and Goods were at the time of the Delivery A Du

    plicate whereof you are likewise to returne unto us with a

    full Accot of your proceedings And in Case you shall at any

    time find Sufficient Cause, not to send any such prize Ship to

    England you are forthwith to Certify the same unto us with

    the reasons thereof when you have carefully & exactly Inven

    toryed & taken a Iust Accot of such Ships their Tackle ifur
