Which being Read It is Ordered that Mr Sollomon Wright
and Mr Charles Hinson attend this house
The Gent of the Comittee of Accots is Sent up to his Excy
and Councill with their Journall
They returne and Say they have delivered the same
Mr Charles Hinson A Member of Kent County made his
Appeareance
And Orderd that Colll Loyd and Mr Thomas Smith accom-
pany Mr Hinson to his Excy & Councill to see him Sworne
They returne and Say they have seen him Sworne.
The Honoble Robert Smith Esqre and Coll Jno Hammond
enters the house and delivers Mr Speaker the Originall Bills
The house adjournes till 2 o Clock in the Afternoone

The house mett againe and were called over Present as in
the morning and Mr Charles Hinson appeared in the house
and tooke his place
Ordinance relating to the Piscattaway Indians

By the house of Dellegates
May 9th 1700

The Answer to our Message yesterday by Mr Loyd and
Mr Cambell sent to us by Colll Hutchin's and Colll hamond
this house hath considered and doe still desire that according
to our former message the rangers may be taken of an is
furthr Resolved and Orderd that the piscattaway Indians land
be layd out as Majr Borman shall direct according as the Rt
honoble the Lord Baltemore directed him and the same may
be done Effectually

Ordered by the house of Delegates that Majr James Small-
wood Mr Thomas Greenfield Mr John Hawkins or any two of
them by there Warrant doe Summons the afd Major Wm
Boreman and the Kings Survr of Prince Georges Coty or some
other discreete person Skillfull in Surveying and five Sub-
stantiall Inhabitants of the said County on or before the first
day of August next Ensewing to meet togeather at some
Certaine place upon the said Indian's Land and doe likewise
give notice to some ffower or more of the Cheife men of the
Piscattaway Indians at time and place afd to meet and doe there
Cause the said Indians land to be Survey'd and marked out as
the said Majr Borman shall direct according as the Rt Honoble
the Baltemore formerly directed him and shall Cause the said
Surveyr to make a true Certificate thereof Expressing the
meets and bounds under the hand of such Survr to be re-
