Ordered that the Peticon of Mary and Joseph Vansweringen
be read w^ch is as followeth

To his Ex^cy the Gov^r and Councill and the Assembly now
Sitting
The Humble Peticon of Mary and Joseph Vansweringen
Ex" of the last Will and Testament of Garrett Vansweringen
of St Marys County deceased

Most humbly Sheweth
That yo^r Petitioners being left Ex^rs by Testator have
also a great many Small Children to Provide for and maintaine
they doe duely and truely pay all the debts of the deceased
when ever demanded but to their damage cannot gett in the
Debts due to the Estate and pticularly a Debt of Seaven
thousand pounds of tobb^o due from the Estate of M^r Sam^ll
Withers and fowerteen Thousand pounds of tobb^o from the
Estate of M^r John Llewellin deed whose Ex^r and Adm^r pre-
tend not to have any Assetts to pay yo^r pet^rs Just demands.
Wherefore yo^r Peticioners being sencible that the sd M^r
John Llewellin and M^r Samuell Withers did leave a good
Sufficient Estate in Lands by the Sale whereof yo^r Pet^r and
all other their Just Creditors may be Satisfied they Therefore
humbly pray yo^r Ex^cy and this hono^ble Assembly that a Law
may be passed to Sell the deeds said Lands for payment of
yo^r Petitioners as well as all other their just Creditors
And yo^r Pet^rs as in duty &ca Shall &c^a On the back of
which Peticon is thus endorsed viz^t
