Ordered that the Peticon of Mary and Joseph Vansweringen
be read wch is as followeth
To his Excy the Govr and Councill and the Assembly now
Sitting
The Humble Peticon of Mary and Joseph Vansweringen
Ex" of the last Will and Testament of Garrett Vansweringen
of St Marys County deceased
Most humbly Sheweth
That yor Petitioners being left Exrs by Testator have
also a great many Small Children to Provide for and maintaine
they doe duely and truely pay all the debts of the deceased
when ever demanded but to their damage cannot gett in the
Debts due to the Estate and pticularly a Debt of Seaven
thousand pounds of tobbo due from the Estate of Mr Samll
Withers and fowerteen Thousand pounds of tobbo from the
Estate of Mr John Llewellin deed whose Exr and Admr pre-
tend not to have any Assetts to pay yor petrs Just demands.
Wherefore yor Peticioners being sencible that the sd Mr
John Llewellin and Mr Samuell Withers did leave a good
Sufficient Estate in Lands by the Sale whereof yor Petr and
all other their Just Creditors may be Satisfied they Therefore
humbly pray yor Excy and this honoble Assembly that a Law
may be passed to Sell the deeds said Lands for payment of
yor Petitioners as well as all other their just Creditors
And yor Petrs as in duty &ca Shall &ca On the back of
which Peticon is thus endorsed vizt

Burgesses to prepare a Bill for that Purpose
