cheerfully Exert your Utmost endeavo^r this Session to approve
yourselves worthy of the Hono^r and happiness you have to
profess y^r selves good Christians and his Maj^ts faithfull Sub-
jects and therein first to consult the honor and Glory of God :
whereupon his Exc^y is pleased to recomend to yo^r considera-
tion his most Sacred Maj^ts order in Councill herewith sent
you and that you would apply yo^rselfe to concert such rules
and measures as may best Establish and secure to you and
your Posterity your Religion (which at P^rsent by the said
Order seems to be alltogeather unhinged) and make such
reasonable Laws therefore as may not meet the least objection
in Passing his Maj^ts Royall Assent

Resolved by the house that his Ex^cys Speech to this house
and the houses answer thereto with his Ex^cys message from
Councill thereupon be forthwith printed and M^r Speaker is by
the house desired to lycense the same

Chambers and returned him thankes for the good Services he
has done for this province and alsoe for that Excell' Sermon
he was Pleased to give us Yesterday
Resolved that this house meet in the morning at Seaven
and Sitt till tenn then rise to goe to Prayers and Sitt againe
from two till Six in the Evening
M^r Parker for Calvert County M^r Phillimon lloyd for Tal-
bott County appeared in the house and tooke their places

Order'd that the Speaker issue his Warrant directed to
the Hono^ble Secretary to send out a Writt to the Sherriff of
Baltemore County for Election of another member to Serve in
this house in the roome of M^r Thomas Stayley now high
Sherriff of the said County
M^r William Parker and M^r Phillimon lloyd come into the
house and take their places
A member of the house offers severall proposalls for advance-
ment of money in this province w^ch is referred to y^e considera-
tion of the whole house
Orderd that two Coppys thereof be forthwith drawne out
and delivered the members of this house that they may take
further consideration thereupon
