cheerfully Exert your Utmost endeavor this Session to approve
yourselves worthy of the Honor and happiness you have to
profess yr selves good Christians and his Majts faithfull Sub-
jects and therein first to consult the honor and Glory of God :
whereupon his Excy is pleased to recomend to yor considera-
tion his most Sacred Majts order in Councill herewith sent
you and that you would apply yorselfe to concert such rules
and measures as may best Establish and secure to you and
your Posterity your Religion (which at Prsent by the said
Order seems to be alltogeather unhinged) and make such
reasonable Laws therefore as may not meet the least objection
in Passing his Majts Royall Assent

Resolved by the house that his Excys Speech to this house
and the houses answer thereto with his Excys message from
Councill thereupon be forthwith printed and Mr Speaker is by
the house desired to lycense the same
Ordered that Mr Tilghman Majr John Lowe Mr John Hall

and Doctor Jacob Lockerman attend Doctor Bray at his
Chambers and returned him thankes for the good Services he
has done for this province and alsoe for that Excell' Sermon
he was Pleased to give us Yesterday
Resolved that this house meet in the morning at Seaven
and Sitt till tenn then rise to goe to Prayers and Sitt againe
from two till Six in the Evening
Mr Parker for Calvert County Mr Phillimon lloyd for Tal-
bott County appeared in the house and tooke their places
The house Adjournes till 2 a Clock Post Meredm

Eod. Die The house mett againe and were prsent as in
the morninge
Order'd that the Speaker issue his Warrant directed to
the Honoble Secretary to send out a Writt to the Sherriff of
Baltemore County for Election of another member to Serve in
this house in the roome of Mr Thomas Stayley now high
Sherriff of the said County
Mr William Parker and Mr Phillimon lloyd come into the
house and take their places
A member of the house offers severall proposalls for advance-
ment of money in this province wch is referred to ye considera-
tion of the whole house
Orderd that two Coppys thereof be forthwith drawne out
and delivered the members of this house that they may take
further consideration thereupon
