As to the Letter from the Rt honble the Lords Comrs of
trade and plantaons of the 12th of Aprill 1703 touching the Ld
Baltemrs objections agt the Land Law, and that for Limitting
tyme for paymt of obligaons being matters of great moment,
the prsent Exigence of the tyme, and the thinness of the house
will not allow off our Examineing of them att this tyme and
Therefore they are referred to the consideraon of the next
Assembly

Mr Lynes brings up the Bill for Regulating Ordinarys and the
Bill for Settling a Revenue on her Matys present Governor
which was read the Second time & thereon is remarq'd to the
house That on severall Occasions & Comands from her Maty
His present Excy the Governor may happen to be out of this
Province even at such time as the shipping may be ready to
clear therefore do not Iudge it proper to curtaile this Offering
to his Exncy any more than to any of prdecessors but that the
said three pence be taken for & During his Said Exncys Gov-
ernmt in & over this Province & that it be given to her Maty
as allready Exprest for his Exncys Support &ca if She shall be
so graciously pleas'd with which Regulation & Amendmt the
bill will pass.
Sent to the house by Mr Coursey
The Councill adjourn'd for an hour.

A Bill to Enable the Executors of Nicholas Milburne to sell
his Lands for paymt of his Debts.
A Bill for the Naturalization of Mr John Ieanert & others
& the Bill for the sale of Capt Henry Smiths Lands for paymt
of his Debts Which being Engros'd were again read & sent
to the house by Col Hamond & Col Lloyd.
Sr Thomas Laurence acquaints his Excy & the Board what
he had offer'd to the house of Delegates & the conference
appointed on occasion of the Proposed bill for Regulating
Ordinarys & Granting their Lycenses &c. in order to assert
his right thereto.
