By the house of Delegates.
Aprill 29th 1704.

Wee herewith send an Accot laid before this house by the
Widdow Beard Demanding pay for cleansing Arms &c. And
Since her Maty has been Graciously pleas'd to Direct three
pence of the 12d p hhd to be apply'd to Supply the country
with Arms &c. And that preserving them are necessary as
purchasing them And that part has been so apply'd Wee
numbly referr the said Accot & all others of that nature to yor
Excy to cause them to be Examin'd & that you will please to
Ordr the charge thereof to be Defray'd out of the said Rev-
ennue Sign'd p Ordr

Mr Bradley & Mr peter Dent bring from the house the fol-
lowing Bills vizt
A Bill for Determining the Association & appointing the
Oath of Abjuration to be taken in this Province
A Reviving Bill for Limitation of Officers Fees.
A Reviving Bill for Sumoning Grand & petit Jurys.
A Reviving Bill for Quietting Differences with the Indians
A Reviving Bill for raising a Supply towards Defraying the

P. R. O.

Countrys charge.
A Reviving Bill for Regulating the Militia.
A Reviving Bill for the Impost of 3d p hhd to the country
And a bill impowering a Comittee to Lay assess & Appor-
con the Publiq Levye which were all read the first time & send
to the house by Mr Brooke & Coll Lloyd.
Mr Philemon Lloyd from the house to acquaint his Excy
that they again desire a Conference on the Bill for regulating
ordinarys with the same Gentn appointed this Morning which
is Granted at the same place, & brings also the Report of Mr
Young Mr Greenberry & Mr Salter of some Reparacons to
be made to the Stadt-House which were agreed to by this
Board.
Mr Smith & Colo Hamond return from the Conference &
say they had insisted on the Amendmt proposed to the Bill to
which the conferees from the house had not agreed & were
gone to make their Report to the house.
The Councill adjourned till 9 a Clock on Munday Morning.
